Oludeniz, part of the Fethiye district, is home to one of Turkey's most photographed bays. It lies around 62 km from Dalaman Airport, and a private transfer takes roughly 70 minutes depending on traffic on the coastal mountain road. There is no direct public transport from the airport to Oludeniz; you would normally travel to Fethiye first and then change to a dolmuş minibus. With luggage, children and post-flight tiredness that connection is a hassle for most guests, so a door-to-door private transfer lets you spend the first hour of your holiday resting rather than waiting.
Oludeniz is best known for the turquoise Blue Lagoon, separated from the open sea by a slender tombolo of sand, and the adjoining Belcekiz beach. Rising above the resort, the 1,960-metre Babadag mountain is considered one of the best paragliding take-off points in the world; tandem pilots usually collect guests from their hotel. Butterfly Valley and the ghost village of Kayakoy are both a short distance away. Because our driver knows the area, they can tell whether your hotel sits by the lagoon or up on the Ovacik hillside and drop you exactly where you need to be.
Just above Oludeniz, Ovacik and Hisaronu are where most of the hotels and nightlife are concentrated; the transfer price to these areas is almost the same as to Oludeniz centre. Even on flights that land after midnight, your TÜRSAB & D2-licensed driver tracks your flight and is waiting at arrivals, and there is no extra charge if you are delayed. Payment is with no prepayment — you pay the driver in cash or by card at the end of the transfer. Families travelling with young children only need to request a free child seat when booking.
